Typically this would be a horse post. But I would like to introduce the inspiration for this blog. My beloved cat Brutus.
I learned many things from my cat.
Brutus came to me almost fourteen years ago, a tabby kitten. Back then, I had no idea how he would affect me in the future. He taught me many things as our lives came together, he taught to care for a living animal. He taught me so much, and sometimes, I think God spoke to me through him, especially when I would be upset, he was my comfort.

So almost five months ago, I had to put my cat to sleep. I was sad, but I knew it was time. He couldn't see out of one eye, and now that he is not here anymore, every time I'm upset, I hug my Brutus blanket.
I miss him terribly, but his lessons to me I will never forget.
